Lauren and Ben got married at the beautiful Leslie-Alford Mims House in Holly Springs.

Their wedding kicked off my 2022 spring wedding season and I cannot imagine a better couple to jump straight in a busy May wedding season with! Their day was so special and you’ll have to scroll to see some of my favorite moments from their day.

I jumped straight into capturing the pretty details of their day. The flowers on the front porch of the house were so beautiful and the little details throughout their day were just as pretty. I love seeing all the small details that have been so carefully thought out come together for the couple. After months of hard work I know how exciting it is to see the dream come together which is why they deserve their own time to shine! One of my favorite parts were the beautiful cake the couple had made by a family friend. It was absolutely stunning!

Next up was capturing some of the getting ready photos. The girls enjoyed the morning getting ready in the beautiful bridals suite while the guys got ready across the hall in a room dedicated for the groom. I loved that the Mims House has a spot for both the girls and the guys to get ready. It makes things so much easier for pictures before the ceremony. The rain was steadily coming down but it didn’t matter! Thanks to so many spots with great coverage we were able to knock out some groomsmen photos before hand! They looked so handsome in their grey suits and light blue ties!

When it was time to get Lauren in her dress we hid the guys away and snuck downstairs to get ready in the room with one of my favorite mirrors! She looked absolutely radiant in her dress from Maggi Bridal! She shared a sweet moment with her mom and then we moved into the sweetest father-daughter first look! I asked Lauren’s dad earlier in the day if he was a crier but you’ll have to scroll to see whether he was or not. I truly loved the dynamic between Lauren and Ben’s families and friends. Everyone was gathered around to celebrate this two individuals coming together as one and the day was filled with that loving energy.

While the rain came down all day, the smiles never left Lauren and Ben’s faces! There were lots of laughs shared and a few tears. They were surrounded by their friends and family and the love and support that had been poured out for the newly weds was felt by all.
