I love a good Wilson NC wedding. Anytime a wedding is closer to my side of town I have to say I am a fan! Christa + Charles had to cutest wedding at their church in Wilson NC. But make no mistake, their small town Wilson wedding will go down as one of my top 5 weddings of the year because of how much I loved their day. From their sweet families and friends, the simplicity of the day and just how incredible they are as a couple every little thing was perfect.

When I think back to their day one of the biggest reasons I know that this day stands out to me is the heart that Christa + Charles share for Christ. Their love for the Lord and desire to walk in step with His desires and plans for their lives as husband and wife is one of the biggest reasons I will always reflect upon this day with fondness.

Christa wore a beautiful gown with lace sleeves and a cathedral length veil. Swoon! We got some incredible veil shoots so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for those below. Her bridesmaids looked so beautiful with their pink and red toned bridesmaid dresses. I am a huge fan of the different colored dresses for bridesmaids. I feel it adds pop to the photos. Charles and his groomsmen looked so dapper in their navy blue colored suits. Charles stood out from the rest with his white colored tie. Another one of my favorite wedding trends! I had fun shooting with the guys because you could tell how excited everyone was to be together and celebrate their friend.

There are a few things I feel deserve mention from their day:

• Keep your eyes peeled for the fun coffee cart the pair had during their reception. I made sure to grab a latte before I headed home for the night. Such a cool addition!
• The bridesmaids prayed over Christa just before the ceremony. It was such a special moment to be invited into and photograph.
• A sparkler exit send off with just the wedding party and parents! Such a fun way to get those photos without disrupting your guests.
• Christa surprised Charles during the reception with an outfit change and another fun surprise. You will have to scroll and see if you notice what she changed other than her clothes!
