Raleigh has so many incredible spots for engagement sessions. This season I’ve found myself at the North Carolina Museum of Art back to back. It is a favorite for so many reasons. The location is great as it is in a central part of Raleigh and it has such amazing scenery for photos. The rolling hills, tall grass and walkways give lots of pretty options. These two knocked it out of the park for their Raleigh engagement session.
That being said, I was thrilled when Nathan and Taylor opted to have their photos here. A few weeks earlier we had to reschedule due to inclement weather and it worked out perfectly. The new date we landed on was incredible. Fall in Raleigh does not disappoint! The temps were great and we had such a glow-y afternoon. I’m such a sucker for the glow-y light! Not only did I meet up with Taylor and Nathan but I met with the videography team as well. They choose to have a video made of their engagement session. It was the first time I have shot an engagement session with videographers there but I have to say I was a fan! It was fun getting to meet more of the wedding team and I am a true believer in the phrase, “the more the merrier!”.
We walked and chatted more about Taylor and Nathan’s wedding day plans and got some really fun shoots for their engagement pictures. I loved their outfits and how the colors looked with the yellow/greens of the tall grass at the NCMA. The pair looked incredible and I loved watching them open up in front of the camera and have fun making each other laugh. It was such a magical afternoon!

I cannot wait to celebrate these two at the Carolina Grove wedding in June! Be sure to come back to see their wedding day photos. I just know they are going to be incredible!
If you liked this session head over to see another fall engagement session!
