I was so excited to have the opportunity to shoot at the Machaven in Rocky Mount, NC. It is a new wedding venue in the historic district of Rocky Mount, NC. Once you start to scroll you’ll see why! It is beautiful on the inside and made for the perfect location for Jenna’s bridal session.

Not only was the venue beautiful but Jenna was such a stunning bride! She looks like an absolute dream in her wedding dress from Maggi Bridal in Raleigh! I am so excited to be sharing these with you all.

We stopped at a few different places around the venue and each one was as equally pretty as the other but I will say my favorites are the portraits we took in front of the staircase. They look so southern and elegant which sums up the feel of the entire session. But the stair case was just the chef’s kiss!

It seems like just yesterday I was meeting Jenna and Caleb for their engagement session and now they’re married! My favorite part of bridals is the anticipation and excitement that can so clearly be felt by the bride. She gets to see herself all put together in her dress, with hair & makeup complete, flowers in hand and often times at the venue she’ll be getting married at. For a lot of brides this is when things start to feel so real! It isn’t this far off party your planning but its here you start to feel the realness that you are marrying your love. It is such a joy getting to be apart of the excitement and cheering you on!
