December wedding at Macclesfield, NC wedding venue the Farmer’s Daughter at Walston Pond
I can’t think of a better way to end my 2021 wedding season than with Will and Taylor’s wedding day. It really was a special one! There are so many moments that stick out in my mind that it would be difficult to narrow it down to which would be favorite. Maybe their epic exit, Taylor’s first look with her dad, or maybe the gorgeous venue tucked away in eastern NC. Regardless of why this wedding was so special I can’t think of a better end to my wedding season!
Taylor and Will got married at the Farmer’s Daughter at Walston Pond in Macclesfield NC. The beautiful venue sits over looking a pond and provided the perfect backdrop for their December wedding day. The day was unusually warm for a December wedding with temps in the 70s. While a day in the 70s sounds like heaven to me the winds were brutal!! Even with the crazy weather we were able to grab photos outside and the venue had gorgeous spots to use when it was better to stay indoors.
When I arrived we started with detail shoots and moved into a sweet first look with bridesmaids and then Taylor shared a first look with her dad. I got teary eyed editing some of these pictures. They shared what has been one of the sweetest father daughter first looks I’ve seen. Their family and friends were so wonderful to work with and you could tell how much they each cared for Will and Taylor. Each person there was so excited to celebrate the pair! Will and Taylor said “I do” under the beautiful fireplace inside and then danced the night away!
From their entrances to the reception to their exit at the end of the night, this couple didn’t come or go without a bang!! I’m so grateful to have been able to celebrate with them and capture their day!! Scroll to see some of my favorites!
