The Pavilion at the Angus Barn – Raleigh NC Wedding Photographer

Tristan and Allison had their wedding at the Angus Barn in Raleigh NC and what a dream it was! One of my favorite parts of being a photographer in the Raleigh area is the variety of venues we have. There are so many to choose from and they are all so gorgeous. The Pavilion at the Angus Barn is a gorgeous property located not far from the RDU airport. With a gorgeous ceremony site looking over a pond, gorgeous landscaping, and a elegant reception space you will love every moment of Tristian + Allison’s wedding day.

The venue made for the most gorgeous photos but I know that what really makes a photo is the people in them. The laughter and love shared between friends and family and sometimes even the occasional tear. This is why I love wedding photography. It is people like Tristan, Allison and their family and friends that cause me to fall more in love with what I do. To have had the opportunity to witness the outpouring of love from their group of people was truly special. I got to spend the day watching them laugh with each other, share a first look, say “I do”, listen to speeches that communicated just how special the bride and groom are and then watch everyone dance the night away.

The pair originally met at App State in their honors English class and reconnected their senior year and the rest is history! Tristan proposed in France in front of the Eiffel Tower. What a dream!

Watching each couple go from engagement to finally married is so special.

It really is a privilege to continue to be invited into such important moments in a person’s life and document it. It never gets old. Some of my favorite moments from their day are

• Allison and her girls getting ready at a near by hotel. Just hanging out and having girl time together.
• All of the gorgeous details Allison had for her invitation photos. STUNNING!
• The first look Allison + Tristan shared before the ceremony. Having a special moment with just each other.
• The flower baskets in place of traditional bouquets.
• The super fun wedding cake! I loved the uniqueness of it!
