The day of Bailee’s bridal session it rained, and rained and then rained some more. It was that miserable slow drizzle rain that sticks around all day long. If you are cuddled up at home on the couch watching reruns of your favorite show it’s great. Or snuggled up with a book and coffee in hand. Not so great if you are trying to have a bridal session!
But one of my top tips for scheduling bridals is to schedule them at a venue. This is a prime example of why that is so important! If it rains you can still get gorgeous images without having to reschedule your hair and makeup artist, your florist if you choose real flowers, adjust your schedule and the photographer. If you choose a venue for your bridal session you’ll get a well manicured, clean location, and have great variety in indoor and outdoor locations.
The May-Lew Farm was the perfect location for Bailee’s bridal on a rainy day! Not only did it have some stunning spots outside to utilize for pictures but it still provided us with plenty of gorgeous backdrops inside. Bailee was such a good sport about the rain and it didn’t phase her one bit. She was STUNNING in her dress!! We stopped at a few spots in the house, used the porch some and then we also snuck across the lawn to the barn to get some beautiful pictures with the barn doors!! The rain certainly didn’t stop us from creating some absolutely magical images!!
I am SO excited to finally share this with you all! Scroll through to see a few of my favorites!
