Pine Log Plantation | Wedding Day | 05.01.2021 | Allison and Chaz

Allison and Chaz had a wedding that will always be one of my all time favorites. I wish I could photograph this gorgeous couple at every wedding! I knew their wedding was going to be a blast when they trusted me to run across street into a random field during their engagement session in the hot NC summer heat!! Those images turned out to be some of my favorites from their session and it felt so special when when found a wild flower field on their wedding day. I felt like we truly came full circle! I loved working with Allison and Chaz not only because they are stunningly beautiful but also because they are just so fun. They laugh so easily with one another and their happiness just spreads to all those around them. Not only were they super fun to be around but their families were such joy.

I arrived early to Pine Log Plantation and spent some time walking around and familiarizing myself with the layout of the venue. It wasn’t long into scouting things out that I knew we were going to create some gorgeous images here. My wheels were turning. I had a million different ideas of where we would do portraits, family formals, etc. There were so many great spots. After checking things out I went to say hello to the soon to be Mrs.

After collecting the details that Allison had gathered together for me I started on photographing everything. I love starting the wedding day with details because it helps set the tone for the rest of the day. I knew then it was going to be a gorgeous day.

Allison and Chaz got married under a beautiful wooden cross surrounded by family and friends. After wedding party and family portraits I whisked them away for some bride and groom portraits. Allison and Chaz brought their two dogs with them so we could grab a few photos with them. It was so sweet!!

They spent the rest of the night laughing and dancing with family and friends and ended the night with a sparkler exit. It was truly the perfect way to end such a wonderful day.

I have so many favorites from the day. It was really difficult to narrow it down so please enjoy this massive blog!
