Engagement sessions are one of the most beneficial things you can do with your photographer to prepare for your wedding day. I truly believe that they are a vital part to your Wedding Experience and it’s one of the reasons I provide the option to add one to any wedding package you choose. If I really think about it, engagement sessions are really the secret to creating a ton of gorgeous, genuine portraits of the two of you on your wedding day! 

During your engagement session, you’ll have the chance to get to know me, experience how I shoot and I handle posing and lighting. This gives you a chance to warm up to the camera because let’s be honest, it can be a bit overwhelming to have a camera pointed in your face. If you are feeling nervous when you think about hopping in front of the camera just know you are in good company. I myself, a professional photographer, get so nervous when I have to be on the other side of the lens. I’ve also found that the couples who are usually the most nervous are the couples who totally ROCK their session! So be encouraged! I have worked with every personality type, every body type, and I always create images my clients love!!
